Since
September 2003, Dan has been providing a weekly humor column for eVent
Life! Magazine, in Friday's Kelowna Daily Courier. He also writes a recurring national humor column for the real estate industry, in REM
magazine, since 2001.
Dan’s humor pieces have been published in “Okanagan Life Magazine”, “Stitches, The Journal Of Medical Humour”, The Calgary Herald, and “The Word Is Out”, just to name a few.
September
2003 also coincided with the release of “Nonsense & Stuff”, a
collection of previously published, and brand-new humor, which competed for the 2004 Stephen Leacock Medal

Dan’s weekly column has addressed subjects as mundane (but universal) as having a cold, going to the dentist, and invariably choosing a line so slow to the checkout that during the wait to get to the cashier, the carton of eggs start to hatch.
It gets a little more philosophical when he offer tips on how to open a new DVD, or determines that in his own case, evolution has possibly skipped a beat…
